Joan B. Hudepohl

Joan B Hudepohl, 88, of Cape Canaveral, Florida passed away on March 30,2023 in Pace, Florida. Joan was born in Kissimmee, Florida; she graduated from Business school in Jacksonville, Florida where she met her husband Jerome Hudepohl while he was serving in the Navy. She was married to Jerome for 53 years and they had 4 children that they raised in Cape Canaveral. Joan worked for the Cape Canaveral Police Department, Brevard County, Sheriff’s Department, and Pan American Services/Johnson Controls. After retiring from Johnson Controls, Joan joined her husband Jerome in his Private Investigation business. She was a wonderful mother and a fun and loving grandmother to her 3 grandchildren who adored her. She loved traveling and could always be found with a good book in her hands. Joan was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome Hudepohl, in 2008, and her daughter Frances Wright in 1997. She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Haynes; her sons, Gregory and Michael Hudepohl; her three grandchildren, Amanda Martinez, William Haynes and Samantha Wright; her great granddaughter, Alina Martinez; and her two sons-in-law, Jeff Haynes and Steven Wright. A service of remembrance and celebration of Joan’s life will be held at Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home in Cocoa Beach for her family and friends on Friday, April 21st from 6-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to St Jude Children’s Hospital.
