Joan F. Stenstrom

Obituary Joan F. Stenstrom of Monterey passed away at Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula on June 12th, 2020, she was 89 years old. Joan was born July 22, 1930 in Omaha, Nebraska to her parents William and Jennie(Korbmaker) Kinsley. Joan was a sales associate at Naturalizer Shoes at the Del Monte Shopping Center where because of her amazing efforts she was a member of the prestigious $1 Million Dollar Sales Club. Joan was an excellent cook and loved collecting cookbooks and recipes. She was a great artist and many times would create holiday cards by hand with one of her special paintings on the cover. She had an incredible enthusiasm for life and anything she did, she did well. She loved watching the Giants and A's play baseball and the Warriors play Basketball. She loved good food, music, travel, the Holidays, and especially her Family. Joan is preceded in death by her husband John A. Stenstrom and her sister Betty J. Spicka. She is survived by her brother Bill Kinsley of Tucson, AZ and her Children Tom Stenstrom (Bettina) of Gilroy, CA, Ted Stenstrom (Jill) of Omaha, NE, Terri Marzetti (David) of Monterey, CA and Joanie Newton (Gary) of Omaha, NE. Grandchildren Brian, Jeff, Amanda, Jennie, Jackie, Shaun, Brad, Elizabeth, Emily, Ben and Creampuff. Great Grand children, Shaylie and Penelope; Nieces and nephews, Christie, Tricia, Cheri, Cathy, Suzi, Frank, Mike, Jodi and Lori. No services will be held.
