July 11th, 1944 - June 13th, 2023
JOAN A (TUTTON) CHAREST, age 78 of Jefferson passed away on Tuesday June 13, 2023 from dementia a cruel disease that she battled for over two years. She was born on July 11, 1944, in Hebron, WI to Edward and Gladys (Williams) Tutton. She married Marc Charest in 1970. Joan was a devoted mother and grandmother who spent countless hours babysitting, passing down family recipes (like her lemon poppyseed bread and beef stroganoff) and tending to her beautiful rose bushes. She will be deeply missed by her family, daughters Nicole (Bill) Pupanek of Cambridge, Heather Charest of Lake Mills, five grandchildren Katie Bryan, Olli Pupanek, Libby Pupanek, Joey Pupanek and Leo Charest, one great grandson Travis Bryan. Sister Janice (Arnie) Van Hoosen of Jefferson. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and sister Joyce Patefield. The family wishes to thank the Jefferson County ADRC, Linnea of Three Oaks Medical Clinic, staff at The View and friends at The Chapel Jefferson for their prayers and support.
