Joann "Ann" Dorothy Crabtree
March 11th, 1931 - February 15th, 2019
Joann Dorothy Crabtree, age 87, passed away on February 15, 2019 in Loveland, Colorado. Ann, as she was known by family and friends, was born on March 11, 1931 in North Carolina. She was a wonderful mother to her three children: her oldest son Eddie Brooks (Sharon), her daughter Marilyn Brooks and her son Shelby Brooks (Lonna). Ann married William Crabtree in 2000 in Moore, Oklahoma. He passed away in 2012. Ann is survived by 7 grandchildren Rodney Brooks, Cody Brooks, Sharon Brooks, Melissa Butkowski (Bill), Sabrina Sebring, Stacy Thomas (Michael) and Michael Brooks (Tara); and her many wonderful great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband William Crabtree, son Shelby Brooks and grandchildren Sherry Lynn Trawick and Dawn McCracken. Ann was a foster mom to many babies until 2010. She was an amazing artist and loved painting. She also loved to shop and collected ceramic elephants and stuffed rabbits. A memorial gathering will take place in the chapel of Northshore Health and Rehab Facility in Loveland, Colorado on February 27, 2019 from 1:00pm-3:00pm.
