Joann Delores Pardy (87) of Nokomis, FL passed away December 29, 2019. Born April 8, 1932 in Detroit, MI to Frank and Carmella Bacchian. Joann is survived by her sisters Marie Petraitis (Joe) and Linda Whitlock (Jim) and her children, Deborah (Daniel) Schneble, Stephen (Diane) Pardy, David Pardy, and Mary Pardy; grandchildren, Patrick (Aimee) Schneble, Brian Schneble (Kelly Jones), Katie Coindreau (Samuel), Matthew Pardy (Hope Martinez), Christina Pardy (Jack Santi), Michael Pardy, Andrew Pardy, Megan -Pardy, Haily Pardy. Great Grandchildren; Payton Schneble, Bryce Schneble, Tyler Schneble, McKenna Schneble, Bryn Schneble, Kaitlyn Pardy, and Alexa Flores. Joann is preceded in death by her husband Frank, parents Frank and Carmella Bacchian and brother Frank Bacchian. Joann married the love of her life, Frank Pardy, on August 4, 1951. Together they began a life that would give them four beautiful children and more wonderful memories than they could ever imagine. Joann worked for Michigan National Bank for many years. Most of her life was spent as a dedicated and loving wife and mother. She had a love for animals and over the years had many pet Dogs; Gypsie, Goldie, Tasha and 2 years ago, Bella, after Frank passed away who was a companion at her side. They enjoyed their retirement days spent between their homes in Nokomis, FL and summers at their in Port Hope, MI on Lake Huron. Joann was generous to many charities in her lifetime as well as her parish. Joann was a devout Roman Catholic and always prayed to Jesus, Our Blessed Mother, Saint Joseph and Father Solanus. She was an active member of Epiphany Cathedral parish in Venice, FL and attended the 4:00 PM mass every Saturday. She was also active in their bereavement group. A funeral mass will be held Tuesday, January 7, at 1:00 PM at Epiphany Cathedral (Chapel) 310 Sarasota St, Venice, FL. Interment with follow at Venice Memorial Gardens. A Memorial Mass will be held in Michigan at a later date at Our Lady of Refugee Parish, 3700 Commerce Road, Orchard Lake, Michigan. In memory of Joann, donations may be made to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105, (https://www.stjude.org/) or The Capuchin Mission Association or Father Solanus Guild, 1820 Mount Elliott St., Detroit, MI 48207, www.thecapuchins.org/donate or www.solanuscenter.org/donate.
