Joann Richardson, 81, widow of James L. Richardson, passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2021. She was born in Madison, West Virginia to the late Mathew and Thelma Jackson Slusher on December 12, 1939. Mrs. Richardson and her husband owned and operated J.R. Special Delivery. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Debra Cheak, Sharon (Dean) Capello, Craig Richardson, Travis McAlister and Sarah Asbury; her grandchildren, Justin, Stephanie, Katie, Hannah, Joe, Caroline, Micah, Olivia, Luci, Cole, Conner, Bella and Casen; and 9 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Steve Richardson. Private Services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
