JoAnn Whitlock passed away April 9, 2021. She was born April 22, 1933, in Lexington Nebraska to Fred and myrtle Kimball. JoAnn met her future husband, Charles Whitlock, in June of 1949. They met at her cousin's wedding in Cottage Grove, Oregon and were married May 31, 1953 at the Methodist Church in Cottage Grove. After a short honeymoon trip to California, Charles went to work for Lane County and JoAnn enrolled at the University of Oregon. She went four terms a year and got her Bacherlors and teaching certificate in three years. JoAnn got her Masters Degree in 1968. She taught a total of 34 years in the 4J District. She is survived by her husband of sixty eight years Charles, son Skip Whitlock, and brother Jerry Kimball of Aloha, Oregon. Arrangements entrusted to Musgrove Family Mortuary.
