Joe E. Gassin, 83, passed away November 25, 2014 in Olympia, WA, where he had lived for 38 years. He was born April 17, 1931 to Adrian and Evelynn Gasssin in Snyder, OK. Joe graduated from Winlock High School in 1950, married Dorothy Kessee July 1, 1950, and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a drywall contractor for Alfa Drywall. Joe is survived by sons, Edward A. Gassin, Aldon T. Gassin, Joe E. Gassin Jr., and Steven S. Gassin; daughters, Theresa M. Blacksnack, Sandra J. Gassin, and Suzanne M. Carrol; 21 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; and sister, Gertrude Womac. He was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy J. Gassin; and son, Dennis J. Gassin.
