OBITUARY – Joe Boyce Jackson, USAF, (Ret.) Memorial services for Joe B. Jackson, 87, of West Columbia, will be held at 11:30 AM, Friday, August 17, 2018 at Woodridge Funeral Home of Lexington, 138 Corley Mill Road, Lexington, SC 29072. Pastor Mark Bredholt will officiate. The family will greet friends from 10:30 – 11:30 AM, August 17, 2018, prior to the service, at Woodridge Funeral Home of Lexington, which is assisting the family. Joe Jackson passed away Friday, August 3, 2018. Born in Anderson, SC, he was a son of the late William H. Jackson and Myrtice A. Jackson. He retired from the USAF after 20 years, and the Nuclear Power industry. Joe is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Sharon D. Jackson; sons, Richard W. Jackson (Diane), Terry L. Jackson, all of Lexington, Joe B. Jackson, Jr. of Las Vegas; daughter, Elizabeth J. Wilcoxson (Jim) of Lexington; 3 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren. Joe is also survived by his brother, Larry R. Jackson; sister, Betty Busha. Joe was predeceased by sisters, Audrey L. Mann, Hazel J. Simmons and Helen M. Simmons. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
