Memorial

Joe Patrick Kindall passed away at the age of 68 at his home in Cambridge, Idaho. Joe was born March 7, 1955 in Ontario, OR to Charles and Ila Kindall. The family moved several times in the early years following the honey flow. Joe spent most of his childhood in Fruitland, ID. Graduating from Fruitland Jr High. Charley and Ila made their final move settling in Cambridge in 1969. This is where Joe met the love of his life Gwen Langer. Joe and Gwen married on November 10, 1972 and had 51 years together. They welcomed the first of 3 sons, Jason, June of 1973, then their family grew when their 2nd son, Charley was born in May of 1975, their family was complete with the birth of their 3rd son, Carson in July of 1979. Joe was always working on their home, constantly upgrading and working on home improvement projects. Joe owned a successful apiary. He worked in the honeybees from an early age. He always said it was a lifestyle. Early in the business spending the summer chasing the honey flows and the winter hunting and fishing. In the early 1980’s, he and Phillip made the business decision to head to California for Almond Pollination. This changed his lifestyle to winters in California and summers in Idaho. Family is what he lived for. Whether it was family trips, fishing, or side by side rides, it was always about family. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren grow. Going to little league games, FFA and high school games, college graduations and their weddings. He loved watching the grandkids at each stage of their lives. Welcoming the next generation with the great grandkids. He got a kick out of the grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Gwen of Cambridge, sons Jason (Dusti) Kindall, Charley (Kerry) Kindall and Carson (Sara) Kindall all of Cambridge. Grandchildren Ryan Kindall of Wells, NV, Bret (Rylie) Kindall of Pocatello, ID. We Entrusted Joe Kindall's Care To

Thomason Funeral Home

For more than 100 years, the Thomason Funeral Home has worked to help the Weiser community heal after loss. We help families plan funerals, cremation services, and celebration of life services. Our story began in 1910 when Lloyd Northam opened the doors at the site now occupied by the current Weiser Elk’s Lodge. Since then, the business has had several names, partnerships, and owners. Among them was Dale Thomason, our namesake, who began working at the funeral home in the mid-1940s and purchased the home as a family business to run with his son. At Thomason, we focus on helping your family with personalized care. We do everything we can to provide professional, compassionate support to every family that trusts us with their funeral arrangements. Along with our sister location in Ontario, Oregon, we help Treasure Valley families connect, honor, and remember their loved ones....
