Joe C. Peel, 82, husband of Linda Jane Peel, passed away after a brief illness on Sunday, March 21, 2021. A native of Jessamine County, he was born on October 2, 1938 to the late Robert and Bonnie Hatton Peel. Mr. Peel was a service worker for Delta Gas. In addition to his wife of 63 years, he is survived by his sons, Barry Peel and John (Karen) Peel, both of Nicholasville; his daughter, Deanna (Steve) Taylor, Nicholasville; grandson, John R. (Faith) Peel, Jr; and great grandchildren, Emily, Maddie and John R. Peel, III. He was preceded by his sisters, Barbara Warner, Margaret Fugate and Dr. Nancy Peel. Mr. Peel requested no services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
