Joel S. Freuler Mr. Freuler, 70, of Charlotte, NC, died December 18, 2010 at Presbyterian Hospital. He was born on May 27, 1940 in Chattanooga, TN, son of the late, John Morgan and Lemmie Parham Freuler, Sr. Mr. Freuler was a member of Park Road Baptist Church, where he sang in the choir and was a past Deacon. He also volunteered at Crisis Assistance Ministries. Mr. Freuler is survived by his wife of 34 years, Frances; daughter, Anna Katherine Freuler; sons, Joel David Freuler and William (Bill) Currie, III; his brother, John Morgan Freuler, Jr. and his wife, Jane of Chattanooga, TN; one niece, four nephews and Onyx, the family dog. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, December 21, 2010 in the sanctuary of Park Rd. Baptist Church, 3900 Park Rd. Charlotte, NC 28209 with the Reverends Russ and Amy Jacks Dean, officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall of the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Crisis Assistance Ministries, 500-A Spratt St. Charlotte, NC 28206.
