Joel Michael William Lambert
August 5th, 1998 - March 2nd, 2021
Joel Michael William Lambert, 22, left this world unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 2, 2021. He was born to Mary and Dwayne Lambert on August 5, 1998, in Olympia, Washington. In 2016, Joel graduated from Tumwater High School and became an Eagle Scout through Troop 9048. While in Boy Scouts, he went to The Summit Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve near the New River Gorge National River in southern West Virginia, for a high adventure trip and survived a major windstorm/tornado! Overall, Joel was a very kind, quiet, and down-to-earth person. He enjoyed sunrises, longboarding, long walks/hikes, sitting and contemplating the world, drawing, and Jones Soda. His favorite color was purple. He was outgoing, spontaneous, and full of life. His presence in this world will be sorely missed by all. In addition to his mother, Mary Lambert, he left behind many family members and his best friend. He is survived by grandparents, Karen and Peter Schultz, and Charlis Beaman; his uncle, Earl “Bob” Beaman Jr. (Tiphanie); his great uncle, George Held; and his cousins, Rachel Felice-Esser (Jason Esser), and Shawn Held (Eden Baxter); and his best friend, Noah Hyde. He was predeceased by his father, Dwayne Lambert; grandfather, Earl Beaman Sr.; great-grandfather, Norman Steyer; and great aunt, Diane Held. His memorial service will be held Saturday, March 13, 2021, 1:00 p.m. PST at Mountain View Church of the Nazarene, 940 Israel Rd. SW, Tumwater, WA 98501.
