Joel Enrique Naranjo

Joel Naranjo, of Ione CA, passed away March 2, 2023, as a result of a tragic motor vehicle accident. Joel was born on December 10, 2017, in Sacramento CA to his parents Alfonso Naranjo and Amanda Fisher-Naranjo. Joel was in Pre-School at Ione Elementary School. Joel is survived by his mother Amanda Fisher-Naranjo and his oldest brother Michael Amado. Joel was the youngest in a family of three boys. He was loved by his parents, brothers, and everyone who had the pleasure to meet him. Joel was kind, compassionate, and creative. He loved his family, his friends, playing at the playground, and going to school. Joel played t-ball for Amador County Little League West and was signed up to cheer for Argonaut Jr. Mustangs. Joel was a leader, even at a young age. He had ideas of love and compassion that far exceeded his age. Those that had the pleasure of knowing Joel, know he lived life to the beat of his own drum, fearlessly. He could see the good in everything. He could see beauty in all things, and he loved to share his love for the world with others. He loved his mother, his father, and his brothers immensely. He was best friends with his older brother, Charlie. He looked up to his other older brother Michael. Joel was fortunate to have such a loving mother and older brothers, who supported and loved his unique, quirky, compassionate and feisty personality. He was a ray of sunshine and could make anyone feel better with just his smile. Joel was surrounded by family, friends, and a community who loved him. He is survived by his grandparents, Charles, and Karen Heintschel; Uncle, Jaden Heintschel, his aunt, Krista, Uncle Justin, and Cousin, Chloe Zoller. He is also survived by a large family that loved him, including his great grandparents, great aunt and uncles, cousins, and friends. The Celebration of Life ceremony will be held at the Ione Evelyn Bishop Hall on Sunday, March 26, 2023, at 2PM. The ceremony is open to the public.
