GA- Joel Pierre “”Joey”” Taylor, 25, passed away suddenly August 31, 2012. A memorial service will be held on Sunday September 9, 2012 at 4:00PM in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. The Reverend Lucious Campbell will officiate. Contributions can be made to Sickle Cell Disease Association, 231 East Baltimore Street, Suite 800, Baltimore, Maryland 21202. Joey was born on September 1, 1986 to Joel Pierre Jenkins and Patricia Taylor. He was a very caring and loving person who enjoyed helping others and spending time with his family. Joel’s writings were wise and inspirational. Survivors: Mother-Patricia Taylor of Georgia, Father Joel Jenkins of Michigan, Sister KarResha Taylor of Georgia, and two very special nephews Keyon and Kamari Williams. Joel also has a host of family and friends from his hometown of Ann Arbor, MI. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
