Obituary Joetta Ann Hoewisch, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Joined the Lord on November 02, 2021, at home in Colorado Springs. Due to the after-effects of the stroke, she suffered from two years ago. Contributing factors were the progression of her paralysis and dementia. Joetta grew up in a family of 7 Proceeded in her death, parents Chet Denman and Thelma Denman, siblings Betty Jean Denman, Donald Denman, Bobby Denman, Edgar Denman, Joettas Son Michael Griffith. Joetta is survived by her husband Tony Hoewisch, sister Sherry Hoover; brother-n-law David Hoover, brother Danny Denman, son Randy Griffith; Sandi, grandsons Dakota Griffith, Tyler Griffith. Joetta grew up on the West Side of Colorado Springs. Graduated from Colorado Springs High School in 1959. At 14, she taught herself how to drive and took her younger siblings out for joy rides when the parents were gone. On through her younger years she would work/volunteer for her dad at (Chet Denman Produce). At 24, Joetta went to work for Hewlett Packard, 38 years later retired from Hp/Agilent. Went back to Hp over the next 5 years part time. Throughout Joettas early years at HP, she had taken college courses to broaden scope of ranks. Joetta Retired as an Administrative Support Person within the R&D Lab, where she was responsible for a multitude of tasks including Lab stock, Ergonomics, Asset Management, Move Coordination, and other Admin Support Functions. She loved her work and the Engineers she would support. (No one could talk negative about an engineer around Joetta, she would have their back) Her engineers in return, were very supportive of Joetta, so much as they called her MOTHER. During Joettas working career and retirement, she loved to do volunteer work. Her last volunteer position being at Colorado Springs Senior Center. Joetta loved to be with Family. Holidays, Special Days, Reunions, she would make up reasons for Family to be together. Joetta had great respect for Anyone who had or was currently serving in the Military. She would have no problem going over to shake their hand and thank them for their service. Joetta loved all people. (One of her favorite latest songs by Luke Bryan; Most People are Good) Joetta loved her friends. She loved to get together with friends to play cards, dominoes, go golfing, dancing, etc. She loved to have fun. Joetta had two sons: Mike & Randy Griffith by her first marriage with Jim Griffith. In 1983 she met her husband Tony Hoewisch (Out Dancing) Married Tony in 1985. Joetta and Tony celebrated their 39th anniversary on October 6th, 2021. Joetta added a chapter to her career with husband Tony in the purchasing of Teds Bicycles in 1985. Joetta was very supportive of Tonys work at the Bike Shop. She would miss him, being gone so much, but knew how much Tony Loved his work, and would support him anyway she could. Joetta loved to travel, again usually with family, but friends as well. She and/or Tony traveled often with sister Sherry & her husband Dave. Joetta loved to do crafts and art type things. She could not sit still. (Ever) In 2015 Joetta was inspired to write a book of HP History in Colorado Springs. (How it All Began Again!) So, she talked four of her Retired Co-Workers, friends along with the aid of other co-workers and friends into writing the book. Joetta celebrated her 80th birthday this year with over a 100 family and friends that came to honor her. Joetta lived a full life, she let no ground go untouched, nor did she not let a friend or family member go un-noticed.
