Born in Geneva, Switzerland. He lived in Maplewood, MN. John is loved by and will be missed by family and friends. Beloved son of Chuck and Patricia Ackerman; Wonderful brother of Steve and Cristine Ackerman; Protective husband of Rossana Ackerman; Incomparible dad of Amanda, Arrianna, and Allison Ackerman. John was the calm to every storm. He touched many people with his humor, storytelling, sarcasm, incredible intelligence, and unbelievable love for others. We know he is with God and we have faith that we will all be together one day.
