John David Ambrose

John Ambrose passed away on May 5, 2023. “John John” as he was known by many of his friends was born April 10, 1970, in Dayton, OH although he grew up in Miami, Florida. A graduate of Christopher Columbus High School, He went on to graduate from Florida State University. He eventually settled into a career with Publix grocery store for whom he worked for over 30 years. John was an outgoing, gentle giant who befriended everyone he met. He loved music, played golf when he could, and recently moved back to Florida from Nashville to help take care of his mother and father. This past year was difficult as he never fully recovered from surgery intended to remove a cancerous tumor. He passed peacefully with his brother at his side. John is survived by his mother Nancy and two siblings, Glenn and Katherine.
