John E. Brenner, 85 of Sun City Center, Fla passed away Sept 29, 2017. He served in the United States Army and retired as Vice President of Volpe Construction Company. He was a member of the various Kings Point Card Clubs and enjoyed traveling. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan and by his son, James Brenner. Survivors include his son and daughter in law, Stephen and Jane Brenner, his daughter and son in law, Diane and Wayne Reed, seven grandchildren, Kenny, Eileen, Allison, Derek, Brandon, Derek Lewis and Marissa Lewis Richmond, five great grandchildren, Eden-Cass, Max, Finn, Jacob and Evie, his sister and brother in law, Caroline and Donald Martin, and his companion, Mary Lippold. The family will receive friends from 9:30 A.M. Tuesday, Oct 3, 2017 at Sun City Center Funeral Home, 18951 Rickenbacker Drive, Sun City Center, Fla. Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct 3, 2017 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 16650 U.S. 301 South, Wimauma, Fla. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sun City Center Emergency Squad, 720 Ray Watson Drive, Sun City Center, Fla 33573.
