Chadwick, Jr., John, Seldon, 56 , of St. Petersburg died Sunday, September 29, 2002 at Bayfront Medical Center. He was a native of St. Petersburg. He was in the Navy and served in the Vietnam War as a Chief Warrant Officer and received the Navy Commendation Medal, Good Conduct Medal with 3 Bronze Stars; Navy Expeditionary Service Medal with 3 Bronze Stars; Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Republic of Vietnam Meritorius Unit Citation Gallantry Cross Medal Color with Palm, Vietnam Campaign Medal, and Navy Vietnam Technical Medal. He was employed by Worknet Pinellas; and as a Veteran?s Representative at Bay Pines Administration. He was a life member of the American Legion and a member of the Ambassadors of St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce, Alumni of National Veteran?s Training Institute and awarded the Worknet Associate of the year. He eaned a bachelor of Science Degree at St. Leo's University, Tampa, Florida. He was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church, Pinellas Park. Survivors include: one daughter, Beverly Denise Chadwick of San Diego, California, one son, John Seldon Chadwick III of Jamestown, Rhode Island,his parents, John Seldon Chadwick Sr., and Lucille Chadwick of St. Petersburg, one sister, Patricia Chadwick Chaney of Brandon, Florida, 2 grandchildren and 3 nieces. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes-Ninth St. Chapel, St. Petersburg.
