August 24th, 1952 - March 14th, 2014
John Howard Cmejla died Friday, March 14th at the age of 61 in Merritt Island, Florida. Mr. Cmejla is survived by his mother, Marjorie R. Cmejla, his three daughters Katherine, Margaret and Emily, five grandchildren and five siblings. Growing up in Waukegan, Illinois and Pelham Manor, New York, Mr. Cmejla attended Pelham Memorial High School and Plymouth State College. Throughout much of his life Mr. Cmejla was a gifted athlete and avid outdoorsman. A memorial service will take place at Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home in Cocoa Beach on Thursday, March 20th at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mr. Cmejla's name to Riverside Presbyterian Church, Cocoa Beach, FL.
