He was an engineer and manager of a machinery shop and was a Baptist. Survivors include 2 sons, Nicholas Kane Cook of Springfield, Illinois and Clifford Cook of St. Petersburg and 1 daughter, Crystal Mae Lamsargis of Springfield, Illinois. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes and Cremation Tribute Center-Ninth Street Chapel.
