John Alfred Dalton
June 23rd, 1952 - October 7th, 2021
John Alfred Dalton, 69, of Canby, Oregon, passed away October 7, 2021. He was born in Ogden, Utah to Alfred and Joyce Dewey Dalton. He lived in Alaska for several years before moving to Montana – both states he loved and explored. Three years ago, he came to Oregon because of health reasons. He was a man of many talents and interests with a quick wit and keen sense of humor. John most enjoyed classical music, photography, mountain climbing, camping, hunting, skiing, scuba diving, exploring ghost towns, and hiking and biking in the National Parks of southern Utah. He even tried sky diving but decided that once was enough! John was also a skilled craftsman who made and sold beautiful log furniture. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Connie Cazier Dalton. He is survived by his sister, Valerie Dalton Koch (David), nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life is planned for later this year.
