John Fagg
April 24th, 1931 - August 14th, 2011
Another Angel was needed in Heaven. John D. Fagg of Greensboro , passed away unexpectedly Sunday, August 14, 2011 at his home. There will be an 11:00 am Graveside Service at Gethsemane United Methodist Church Cemetery, on Wednesday, August 17. John will be lying in state from 2- 5 pm on Tuesday at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home for friends to pay their last respects. He was a graduate of Summerfield High School. He was retired from AT&T. A lifelong member of Gethsemane United Methodist Church where he served as a Sunday School teacher, Sunday School Superintendent. He served on the Administration Board, MYF leader. He was a past Assistant Fire Chief of Fire District 13, Station 8. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Nellie Fagg, a brother Bill Fagg. He is survived by wife of 60 years, Catherine L. Fagg of Greensboro. A son, Charles (Carol) of Reidsville, daughter Dianne Ryan (Rodger) of Greensboro, granddaughter, Rebecca Suits Hartsough (Jason) of Charlotte, great-grandchildren, Jackson and Jenna Hartsough of Charlotte, brother, James K. Fagg (Margaret) and several nieces and nephews. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be missed by all of us. He was always thinking of others. His family was the recipients of all his love, care and devotion. We don't need to say 'good-bye' we will see you on the other side.
