Mr. John L. Ford, Jr. age 62 a resdient of Winter Haven, Florida passed away Thursday, January 9, 2014 due to an automobile accident. Mr. Ford was born June 2, 1951 in Birmingham, Alabama to John Limuel and Sara Elizabeth (David) Ford, Sr. He was a Polk County resident for 60 years coming from Alabama. He retired from the construction industry as a bridge surveyor. He attended Grace Lutheran Church in Winter Haven and graduated from Lakeland High School Class of 1969. John enjoyed coaching basketball for several schools, fishing and going to the smokey mountains with his family.
