John F. Fortunato
September 21st, 1950 - January 14th, 2020
"Palmer-John F. Fortunato, 69, passed away January 14, 2020 at Baystate Medical Center. Born September 21, 1950 in Malden, he was the son of Louis P. and Lucy A. (Poriello) Fortunato. John grew up in the Boston area and has lived in Palmer for the past five years. He enjoyed working as a car salesman at Buddy's Auto Sales in Palmer. Many Labor Days were spent at Hampton Beach with a tailgate picnic. John also relished in cruise nights with his 1964 white and turquoise convertible Comet. He is survived by his girlfriend, Peggy Parron of Southbridge, sister, Deborah Fortunato of Melrose, sister, Theresa, and an aunt in Florida. Visitation will be Tuesday, Jan. 21st from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home. For those wishing, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society."
