John Francis Gleason
October 13th, 1959 - February 5th, 2024
John Gleason, born on October 13th, 1959, in Queens, New York, peacefully passed away at Viera Hospital on February 5th, 2024, at the age of 64. He is survived by his devoted mother, Ellen, and is preceded in death by his father, Martin. John leaves behind his cherished brothers, Martin and Edward, along with his beloved sister-in-law, Brenda, and his goddaughter, Caitlin. He is also remembered by three nephews: Martin, Joey, and Daniel, and a niece, Amber. In 1989, John made the life-changing decision to relocate to Florida, where he built lasting connections and embraced the warmth of the Sunshine State. Throughout his life, John cultivated a deep love and passion for music, finding solace and joy in the timeless melodies of The Who and The Beatles. His enthusiasm for music resonated with those around him, leaving a lasting impact on friends and family alike. A celebration of John's life will be held on March 8th, 2024, at The Pelican Clubhouse, located at 1495 HWY AIA, Satellite Beach, FL 32937. Friends and family are invited to gather from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm to share memories, offer support, and celebrate the rich tapestry of John's life. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, honoring John's memory and supporting the important work of this organization. Your contribution during this difficult time is greatly appreciated. May John Gleason's spirit forever resonate through the music he loved and the memories he created with those who held a special place in his heart.
