John Italo Gulino August 3, 1929 ~ December 28, 2010 MONTEREY ? John Italo Gulino, a resident of Monterey and Pacific Grove for over 20 years, passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula. John was 81 years old. Born in Rutland, Maine on August 3, 1929, John served his country in both the Marine Corps and the U.S. Army Air Corps during the Korean War and WWII. While stationed in Southern California, John met and married the love of his life, Patricia Bryant, and they had three children together. After his military service John stayed in Southern California where he ran his own plumbing company before settling in Monterey. John is survived by his three children, four grandchildren, his siblings, and a host of great grandchildren.

Mission Memorial Park
For almost 100 years, our cemetery has served the residents of the Monterey Bay Area. Mission Memorial Park opened in 1934 as Mission Memorial Cemetery and for many years was run by the City of Monterey. In 1988, Monterey Peninsula Mortuary opened on the grounds of our beautiful Seaside location. In 2007 we closed our Chapel of Seaside at our Noche Buena location and merged the two to become Mission Mortuary & Memorial Park....
