John "Kenny" Kenneth Hair

February 8th, 1949 - August 25th, 2024

John Kenneth “Kenny” Hair – A memorial service with US Army funeral honors for John “Kenny” Hair, 75, of Lexington, will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, August 29, 2024, at the Mausoleum Chapel of Woodridge Memorial Park, 138 Corley Mill Road, Lexington. Pastor David Spears will officiate. Burial will be private. The family will greet friends for one hour (10:00 AM – 11:00 AM) prior to the service in the Mausoleum Chapel.

 

Kenny Hair passed away Sunday, August 25, 2024, at his home. Born in St. Matthews, SC, he was a son of the late William Fred Hair and Faye Felder Hair. Kenny served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam Conflict, and later retired from Eastman Corporation after more than 30 years of service. He enjoyed cars of all types, especially Chevrolet Corvettes, and working in his yard. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother who will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

 

Kenny is survived by his loving wife of more than 50 years, Nancy Davis Hair, sons, Chad Hair (Enga), Jason Hair (Lori); five grandchildren, Dalton Hair, Dylan Hair, Andrew Hair, Grace Hair and Corinne Hair; brothers, George Hair, Lamar Hair (Jackie), Roy Hair and Bill Hair (Stephanie); sisters, Gladys Almond and Sylvia Hair; sister-in-law, Elana Hair, and a large and loving extended family. Kenny is also survived by his beloved Goldendoodle, Max.  In addition to his parents, Kenny was predeceased by his brother, Robert Hair.
