John Timothy Hancock
February 2nd, 1938 - May 8th, 2022
John Timothy Hancock, 84, husband of Christine Preston Hancock, passed away Sunday, May 8 2022. He was born in Columbia,Kentucky to the late Benjamin and Frances Hancock. Mr. Hancock is a veteran of the United States Army and is retired from Texas Instruments. He enjoyed golf, Jimmy Buffett and growing peppers, but most of all he adored his grandsons. In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters, Andrea Lynn (Herman) Johnson, Sally Ann Hancock, son, John (Michelle) Miller Hancock, sister Nancy (John) Ballou, brothers, Kenneth (Marsha) Hancock, Stevenson (Cindy) Miller Hancock and grandchildren Hayden Miller Hancock, Jesse Ireland Hancock and Matthew Johnson. He was preceded in death by his sister Sammy June Hancock Cundiff. A Funeral Service will be held Friday May 13, 2022 6:00pm at Clark Funeral Home RoseHill in Versailles with John Deans and Bob Woolfolk officiating. Visitation will be 4:00pm until time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association.
