December 28th, 1926 - June 24th, 2015
John R. "Jack" Hynes, 88, of Englewood, Florida died June 24, 2015. Jack was born in Holyoke, MA and had been a resident of Florida for 15 years coming from Norwalk, CT. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was a past president of the USS Missouri Association. He is pre-deceased by his wife of sixty-eight years, Janet, just four days earlier. Jack in survived by his daughter Cynthia Claydon and his son, Jonathan (Lucy) Hynes; one grandson, James Claydon; five great grandchildren and his caregiver Damaris Bockelman. Serivces will be private. Englewood Community Funeral Home with Private Crematory has been selected to handle arrangements.
