John Isaacs, 68, passed away on October 22, 2015. He originally arrived as a resident of Las Vegas in 1981. John was born October 12, 1947 in White Plains, NY to the late Mark and the late Marion Virginia (Loeb) Isaacs. He was greatly loved by his stepfather the late Lester Sternfels. Among his interesting professions, he had a career in radio which began at Bowdoin College, and matured to manager at a then new fm station, WBLM. He continued to love many aspects of broadcasting, doing voice overs, community radio, and being an amateur radio operator, using call sign, KB1UYT. He enjoyed acting, travel, Broadway musicals, and playing a good poker game. John is survived by his wife Mirabai Rose Isaacs; daughter Gwyn (Jennifer) Isaacs; grandchildren Casimir and Avi (Kadesha) Isaacs; his mother in law Lauren Isaak; and his labradoodle Millie. A memorial service will take place at Temple Sinai, 9001 Hillpointe Road, Las Vegas, NV 89134, at 1:00 PM on Thursday, October 29.
