John "Jack" Francis Trumble

John "Jack" Francis Trumble, age 84, died Monday, February 10, 2020 in Las Vegas, NV. Mr. Trumble was born August 7, 1935 in Troy, NY. He is the son of the late Leo Henry and the late Irene Elizabeth (O'Neil) Trumble. Jack grew up in Troy where he graduated from Catholic Central High School in 1953. He enlisted in the US Navy shortly after graduation. He married the love of his life, Patricia Turcotte, in 1955. Together they raised their seven beautiful children. Jack worked in the television industry part of his life. He was a camera man, production man, commercial director, and producer. He also was heavily involved in the Catholic Church serving St. Francis De Sales Church in Troy, N.Y. In 1975. Jack and Patricia participated in Marriage Encounter and hosted couples classes for the Marriage Encounter community. Jack completed Diaconate Training in 1982. He was on the Bishop Task Force on Human Sexuality from 1980 to 1984 where he helped develop a training curriculum for diocesan schools. Jack was ordained as a deacon for the Albany, N.Y. Dioicese in 1982. He was a chaplain for Eden Park Intensive Care Nursing Home in Troy and regularly visitted residents to distrubute communion and held communion services. Jack and Patricia relocated to San Diego from New York in 1985. While living in San Diego, Jack moved into St. Kieran's Parish. He attended marriage preparation through the San Diego dioces as well as the Catechetical Institute. He is survived by his three daughters: Jane (Frank) Spotten of Las Vegas, NV, Julie (Gilbert Dube) Johnson of Lawrence , MA and Susan (Victor) Zamora of Orange, CA, and four sons: John Lawrence (Lynn) Trumble of Tupper Lake, NY, Timothy Trumble of Poway, CA, Robert (Christine) Trumble of Las Vegas, NV and James (Jaren) Trumble of Las Vegas, NV. Jack was preceded in death by wife: Patricia Lucille (Turcotte) Trumble, A memorial service will be held 9:00 am on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Kraft Sussman Funeral And Cremation Services, 3975 S. Durango Drive, Las Vegas, NV. Jack and Patricia's inurnment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery Of Troy in Troy, NY at a later date and time.
