LAUER, John A., 57, of Land O’ Lakes, Fla., passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2011. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA and moved to Fla. in 2001. John has worked for Publix since 2007 in Land O’ Lakes. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and wood working and was a Steelers Fan. He is preceded in death by his father, John and sister, Maureen Stocker. He is survived by his wife of 39 years Linda; son, John and his wife, Nicky; two daughters, Jenn Ostermeyer and her husband, Tom and Donna Phillips and her husband, Brian; mother, Catherine “Trinky” Dumm; brother, Steve and his wife, Darlene; brother-in-law, Chuck Stocker; two sisters, Darlene Sharrow and her husband, Scott and Susie Pastorik; eight grandchildren, Anthony, Briana, Paige, Nathan, Hannah, Jessica, Olivia and Blake. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Masaryktown Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening at Loyless Funeral Home. Donations may be made in John’s memory to the American Cancer Society.
