July 3rd, 1942 - February 24th, 2024
John B. Levengood III, 81, West Deptford, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 24, 2024. Legacy He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, cousin, and friend. He was a proud member of the United States Army and served during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed boating, fishing, camping, going to Pine Haven and playing cards at the Garrison. He was known to have a nip of Scotch and a cigar. Family He is the beloved husband of 41 years wonderful years to Mary Anne Levengood (nee Zubec). Devoted father of the late Lana Hill, John B. Levengood, IV, Kim Levengood, Shannon Eshlemen-Levengood, Sherrie Davis, Anna Marie Thomas, and Joseph A, Bonghi. Treasured grandfather and great grandfather of many grandchildren. He will be be missed by family and friends. Farewell Tribute Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Monday, March 4th from 10:00AM to 12:00PM in the McGuinness Funeral Home- (Woodbury Location) 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, NJ 08096. Funeral Service at 12:00PM. Interment will be private at a later date with military honors.
