John Conrad LoZito
September 10th, 1943 - September 3rd, 2015
Dr John LoZito, passed away suddenly on September 3, 2015. He was predeceased by his father, Corrado LoZito; mother, Janet Charlton LoZito Eaton; sister, Patricia LoZito; and daughter, Janet. He is survived by daughter, Linda Jeffreys Scholle (Mike); son, Jay Jeffreys; and grandchildren, Joshua and Emma Jeffreys. John will be sadly missed and always in the heart of his wife, Margo; stepdaughter, Kelly Kateb (John); stepson Paul Brickman (Leslie); granddaughters, Korrin Brickman, Abigail Brickman, Stephanie Kateb; neice, Candy Reichenbaum (Mark); cousin, Sandy Love, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. John was born in the Bronx, New York and grew up in Miami. He attended Stetson University on an Oboe scholarship and graduated with a degree in Chemistry in 1965. He graduated from the Miami University School of medicine in 1969. He did his residency in Wilford Hall, San Antonio, Texas, and U.S.A.F School of Aerospace Medicine, in 1970. He completed his Neurology Residency at the University of Miami from 1973 to 1976. John was a U.S. Air Force Flight Surgeon from 1971 to 1973. John was in private practice in Melbourne, Florida from 1976 until he retired in 2013. He was the first Neurologist to practice in Melbourne. In lieu of flowers, Margo requests that donations be made to The Women's Center of Brevard, 1425 Aurora Road, Melbourne, FL 32935, in John's name.
