John A. Lucero, age 53, a lifelong resident of New Mexico, was called home to be with our heavenly father on June 3, 2017. He is preceded in death by his mother, Gloria Lucero; father, Juan Lucero; brother, Vincent Lucero; and nephew, Eugene Medina-Baros. John is survived by his son, John Lucero; sister, Diana Contreras (husband Ray); sister, Patricia Medina; grandchildren, John Michael, Isaac, Isaiah, Jordan, Josiah and Jayden. Godsons Matthew Contreras and Elias Medin; nieces; and nephews, Erika, Ray, Alex, Santana, Santiago, Gloria, Vicente, and Ricardinho. Services will be held on Thursday on June 22nd 2017, at 8:00 AM, at Calvary Chapel New Harvest. 701 Main St. Los Lunas, New Mexico Arrangements entrusted to Riverside Funeral Home of Los Lunas, 820 Main St. NE, 505-565-1700.
