John Lucero

John Lucero, Age 68, of Albuquerque, NM, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on Sunday November 26, 2017 at 1:45 AM. John Lucero was born in Albuquerque, NM to Andrea and Antonio Lucero on March 14, 1949. He married Irene Lucero on January 18, 1969 in San Jose, California at our Lady of Guadalupe Church and they remained married for 47 Years. He worked as a Painter, Construction Worker and then retired as a Truck Driver. John worked for over 50 years and was most known for his love of his wife and family, music, playing the guitar, and playing pool. John was a kind and generous man. He would offer the shirt off his back and not ever ask for anything in return. John is preceded in death by his Mother, Andrea Lucero. John is survived by his Wife Irene Lucero; his 3 Children: Michelle Alatorre and her wife Luane Alatorre, JC Lucero and his wife Julie Lucero, Danny Lucero and his wife Vanessa Lucero; his Sisters: Anna Castellanos, Yolanda Trujillo, Theresa Lucero, Ruth Lucero, and Brother: Tony Lucero; his Father Antonio Lucero; and Grandchildren: Kenneth Archuleta Jr., Ashley Archuleta, Branden Yvon, Shannon Lucero, Carlos Lucero, Marcos Lucero, Eric Lucero, Anthony Lucero, Andrew Lucero; Great-Grandchildren: Angelica Lopez, Santiago Lopez, Kenneth Archuleta III, Laura Archuleta, Serenity Lucero, and Matthew Sturgeon Jr. Pallbearers will be: Kenneth Archuleta Jr., Branden Yvon, Carlos Lucero, Matthew Sturgeon, Anthony Lucero and Andrew Lucero. Honorary Pallbearers: Angelica Lopez, Santiago Lopez. Viewing will be at 6:00 PM and Rosary at 7:00 PM on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Riverside Funeral Home: 225 San Mateo Blvd. Memorial services will be held at 11 AM on Friday, December 1, 2017 at Albuquerque Revival Church: 124 Texas St. NE 87108 with a reception to follow.
