MacGregor, John ?Jack?, 89, of St. Petersburg, Florida, died Thursday June 5, 2003 at Northside Hospital & Heart Institute. Born in Glasgow, Scotland he moved to Florida in 1978 from Elizabeth, New Jersey. He was a U.S. Army Sergeant during WWII and a retired salesman with FMC Corporation, Carteret, NJ. He was a supporter of the Arts and Theater of St. Petersburg for many years, and a member of the Elk Lodge. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and John MacGregor, sisters Jessie Woodhull, Mary Morehouse, Amelia Clauss, Nan White and brother George MacGregor. He is survived by two nieces, Diane Perry of Neptune, NJ and Wilma Hennaut of Tuckerton, NJ; seven nephews, Walter J. Woodhull of Springfield, IL, Craig C. Woodhull of Jamesburg, NJ, Earl Clauss of Clemmons, NC, Douglas Clauss of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Ronald, Derek and Gordon White all of Springfield, OR; 27 great nieces and nephews and 16 great-great nieces and nephews. Interment will be in Clover Leaf Cemetery, Woodbridge, NJ.
