John Robert Magill August 1, 1934 �" April 13, 2008 Age: 73 Residence: Greeley, Colorado Tribute: John Robert Magill was born to Raymond and Frances (Wahlert) Magill in Exira, Iowa. The family moved to Atwood, CO where Mr. Magill grew up and attended school. He graduated from Sterling High School in 1952. On June 14, 1953 he married Alberta Scheel in Sterling. Mr. Magill worked as a mechanic, a gas station owner and for the railroad, before settling on a career as a construction contractor. He loved his work and often thought it was great to get paid for something he enjoyed so much. He also enjoyed collecting and fixing up cars, especially Lincolns and El Caminos. Mr. Magill was a generous and helpful person who would often stop and help people along the roadside. He also had a great sense of humor. His children remember being able to go to him for advice and always getting a wise response. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and the Elks B.P.O. Mr. Magill died Sunday at his residence. Survivors: Daughters, Rhonda Evans and husband Mike of Greeley, Roxana Bracken and husband Gregory of Greeley, Juliet Russell and husband Thomas of Wellington, CO; son Robert Magill of Loveland, CO; eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Kenny Magill of Oklahoma, Chet Magill of Leadville, CO, and Glen Magill of Atlantic, IA. Proceeded in death by: Parents; sister, Rose Marie Blando; brother, Larry Magill. Services: 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 17, 2008 at Adamson West Chapel, 2000 47th Avenue, Greeley. Visitation: 5:00 �" 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Adamson West Chapel. Interment: Sunset Memorial Gardens.
