John Stephen Marcinko

John Stephen Marcinko, 78 years old, from Torrance County, NM passed away February 15, 2016, in Albuquerque NM. He was born May 27, 1937 in PA, and was the son of Joseph and Julia Marcinko. John was a Radar Tech in the Air Force for 13 years and lived in many states, and served in the Vietnam War. He worked for Reynolds Metals in Torrance CA for 30 years before settling down in Torrance County New Mexico. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Mary Lou Marcinko NM; son, John R. Marcinko (Cindy) NM; and daughters, Julie A. Marcinko AZ, and Cynthia D. Cantu (Ismael) AZ. He was "PA" to 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. John was a great outdoors man and enjoyed hunting, fishing and built his own shooting range on his property in NM. He was a quiet man, but you could count on him when the going was rough. God has truly taken one of his finest angels home to be with him. We know that he will no longer suffer and he will be greatly missed, but he will never be forgotten. In addition to the many titles mentioned before, he will also be remembered as father-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and last but not least a friend. We will meet again and will know where to find you, right next to that big fishing hole in the sky.
