John "Jack" Joseph McGorray
May 27th, 1963 - January 10th, 2020
John (Jack) McGorray, 56, passed away suddenly January 10, 2020. Jack was born in Buffalo, NY on May 27, 1963. He was first of 4 children born to Richard (pre-deceased) and Margaret (Sheehan) McGorray. Jack is survived by Margaret, brother Patrick, sisters Molly McKnight and Colleen as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Jack joined the Colorado Air National Guard after graduating from Catalina High School in Tucson. AZ. His love for airplanes was fostered while volunteering at the Pima Air Museum and led him to Colorado Aerotech to become an airplane mechanic. Combined with a passion for photography, he became an avid on line poster of pictures of vintage as well as current airplanes. Other hobbies included model trains and detailed painting of cast figures. There are few more loyal fans of the Buffalo Sabers, Buffalo Bills, Colorado Avalanche, and Colorado Rockies. Jack touched many lives and his generous heart and joy of people will be missed.
