John Kenneth McGowan, 83, born October 13, 1933 in Rutherford, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at home on July 2, 2017. John settled in Cocoa Beach with his wife, Karin in 1965. He worked for IBM at Kennedy Space Center for several years and later he opened his own business Cocoa Beach Glass until he retired. John is survived by his wife, Karin, and his children Mark, Linda-Ann, Darren and Scott as well as his 9 grandchildren. He was a big part of everyone’s life and will be deeply missed. A celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 P.M., Friday, July 7, 2017 at Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home, 101 N. Brevard Ave., Cocoa Beach, Florida.
