John F. Moseley
May 20th, 1955 - January 26th, 2013
John F. Moseley John was born on May 20, 1955 in Beloit, Wisconsin to John B. Moseley and Helen Moller. He died of liver cancer on January 26, 2013 in Elma, Washington, at the age of 57. John lived in Elma for 15 years with his wife, Mary (Williams) Moseley. He has one daughter, Sheri Sage married to Joshua Plyler; and one granddaughter, Kyrstin Sage. John is also survived by his sister Ann and brother Chris. He was predeceased by his brother Paul. John did most of his growing up in Norfolk, Connecticut, where he went to Northwestern Connecticut Regional #7 High School and Northwest Connecticut Community College. John joined the military in 1973 and served in the United States Army for four years until he was honorably discharged. He then moved to Buena Park, California, where he met his wife of 27 years, Mary. John spent his life as a hard working machinist. He could take apart and put back together anything you gave him. His biggest joy in life was riding his Harley Davidson with his wife at his side. He also enjoyed shooting, rock collecting, collecting skulls, fishing, playing cards, and camping. Over the last years of John’s life, he found faith in the Catholic religion, which gave him a lot of peace towards the end of his life. We remember John as being a leader and protector. He loved with everything he had and he will be cherished and missed by all who knew him. We know that now he is in Heaven, fishing with his brother Paul, and will be waiting for us to join him. Please leave memories of John or condolences for his family in the Guestbook below.
