John T. Mulhall

John T. Mulhall Jr., age 80, of Gloversville passed away on Sunday January 16, 2011 at Nathan Littauer Hospital in Gloversville. He was born in Gloversville, NY on May 7, 1930 the son of the late John and Mary Mraz Mulhall Sr. John proudly served his country in the United States Navy in the early 1950's. On September 26, 1959, John married the former Carmella C. D'Errico. They have shared over 50 years united in marriage. John was of the Catholic faith and was a parishioner of the Church of the Holy Spirit in Gloversville. He was a former member of the Knights of Columbus as well as the Senior Citizens Service Center. He enjoyed cars, trains and absolutely loved airplanes. The thing that John enjoyed the most was spending time with his children and grandchildren. In addition to his wife of 51 years, John is survived by four children: James Mulhall Lorraine of Gloversville, Lisa Chatterton of Gloversville, John T. Mulhall III of Gloversville and Jeannie Fimple John of Denver, CO. Additional survivor include: 5 grandchildren: Chad Brittany, Brittany, Maria, Madisyn, Luke as well as three sisters: Nancy Laporta, Rosemary Laga and Patty Brownell. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his brother Robert Mulhall and a baby brother Edward Mulhall. Friends and relatives are invited and may call from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday January 19, 2011 at the Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday January 20, 2010 at the Church of the Holy Spirit at 10:00 a.m. with the Very Rev. Donald Czelusniak as celebrant. Interment will follow at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville.
