John "E.J." Gary Ooman

John Gary Ooman "E.J." 56 of St. Petersburg passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center, Bay Pines Florida. Born in New York City, EJ came here in 1980 from Mahapac New York. He worked as a carpenter for many years and proudly served our country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He was Catholic. Survivors include his children Amber Ooman, Taylor John Ooman and Joshua Harvey; his mother Doreen Ryan and siblings Carol Fullerton, Maureen Peoples, Michelle Dillon, Maria Salvador and Robert Ooman. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8PM Sunday November 30, 2008 at David C. Gross Funeral Home in St. Petersburg, where funeral services will be 1PM Monday, December 1st. Burial will follow at Bay Pines National Cemetery. David C. Gross Funeral Homes is serving the family. Service Information
