John passed away peacefully at home at the age of 87, on Sunday, September 22, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

 

John will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 62+ years Mary Ann, his children John and Mary Ann (Bohne), her husband Karl Bohne, three grandchildren Karl Bohne and wife Joni, Nicholas Bohne and wife Kim, and Kimberly (Dier) and husband Kevin Dier, and seven great-grandchildren Maggie, Brylee, Maia, Skylar, Ava, Kaylee, and Kolbie.

 

John was born in Brooklyn, New York on July 9, 1937. He served in the U.S. Army. He was Vice President of Data Processing for several major New York Banks. He retired and moved to Rockledge, Florida in 1985. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, and traveling on cruises, but mostly loved spending time with his family.

 

Services will be held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (5655 Stadium Parkway, Viera, FL 32940) on October 11, 2024, at 11 am. A Celebration of Life reception will follow the Service at St. John’s Parish Hall.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
