John A. Peacock, Sr. 74, of Summerville, South Carolina passed away Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Trident Medical Center. He was born on October 26, 1943 in Hazelhurst, Georgia to Enoch Benhill Peacock and Minnie Rachel Moye. John is survived by his wife Shelly (Amerson) Peacock. 4 Children, John A. Peacock, Jr. (Cissy), Diannia (Peacock) Key (Alan), Thomas Randall Peacock (Donna), Lisa (Peacock) Stanfield (Gary). 2 Brothers James Peacock (Becky) and Benjamin Peacock (Kathy). 12 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren, Several nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his father Enoch Benhill Peacock, his mother Minnie Rachel Moye, a sister Edna Jean Allen and 1 Grandson Brandon Peacock. The family will receive friends at 12 p.m. on February 14, 2018 at Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation and Burial on 281 Treeland Drive, Ladson, SC. With Rev Harvey Fields officiating. Interment will be at Highland Memory Gardens 1553 Dawson Branch Road, Jedburg, SC.
