John "Buddy" Gordon Redmon

September 21st, 1938 - August 19th, 2024

John "Buddy" G. Redmon, 85, passed away Monday, August 19, 2024.

 

John was born September 21, 1938, in Cascade, Idaho, to the late Glenn and Glendora Redmon. He was also preceded in death by Irene (Milligan), his wife of 59 years, and his older brother, Lary.

 

John was born and raised in Cascade, Idaho. He moved to Arizona and met Irene. They moved to Brazil and started their family. After a couple years, they moved to Washington State and added to their family, before returning to Idaho. He and his family have lived in Greenleaf since 1968 - farming, working in construction, raising cattle and creating his well-known aviary, which housed an extensive collection of birds from around the world. 

 

He is survived by his children, Kathy Redmon (spouse, Mark Lepine), and Johnny Redmon; loving grandson, Joshua Redmon (spouse, Tracy), with great granddaughter, Sylvianna; loving granddaughter, Hailee Swainston (Redmon) (spouse, Shawn Swainston), with great grandchildren: Zain, Brenna and Novalee.

 

Relatives and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life held on Saturday, September 7th, at 3:00 p.m. at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, 624 Cleveland Blvd. in Caldwell.
