John Mack Royalty, 83, passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021. The husband of Lurley Brandenburg Royalty, John was born November 1, 1937, to the late Alvin and Mary Etta Hamm Royalty in Lexington, Kentucky. In addition to working on cars, he thoroughly enjoyed attending car shows with anyone who was willing to tag along. Riding his tractor, mowing, and taking care of their farm in general, brought him great enjoyment. John’s love for animals, especially his dogs, Cody and Gretchen, was tremendous. In addition to his wife of 39 years, Lurley Brandenburg Royalty, John leaves behind his children, John (Jennifer) Royalty of Lexington, Ann Royalty of Nicholasville, Robert Royalty of Lexington, Donna Collins of Nicholasville, Kathy Fletcher of Wilmore, Grady (Tonya) Moore of Florida; 8 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren. John was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Mary Etta Hamm Royalty; and brothers, Fred Royalty, James Royalty, and Don Royalty.
